"Turkic-Slavonic Dialogue in the space of the Western Siberia" was the topic of the jubilee conference. Much emphasis was placed upon problems of ethnic identity and the history of ethnic-cultural contacts of the Siberian Tatars, dialogue between cultures and civilizations, language of the Siberian Tatars and the role of Turkic population in the national policy of Russia as well as the study of creative legacy by B.Suleymanov and Ya.Zankiyev.
