The monograph is dedicated to style tradition of G.Derzhavin in the Russian literature of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth century. It brings to light characteristic features of this tradition, and their style interpretation in works by A.Griboyedov, A.Pushkin, V.Benediktov, N.Gogol, F.Tiutchev, I.Bunin, A.Block and other writers. Separate chapters are dedicated to the way Derzhavin’s style influenced creative individuality of S.Bobrov and B.Khlebnikov.
