The collection of works is devoted to the history of culture and religion of Central Asia. For the first time in Russian science Bronislav Kuznetsov (1931-1985), a well-known researcher of Tibet culture, translated the texts of the old Tibet polytheistic Bon religion and traced its origins from the ancient Iran. Several articles cover the history of early Buddhism and define some key terms of buddhistic philosophy. Buddhistic monuments of Kirghizia and Tibet inscriptions of Issyk Kul are examined.
