The monograph continues a series of publications on the archaeology of the Bulgarian settlement (a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site). It is dedicated to the publication of the results of research on pottery furnaces in the western part of the medieval urban area. Comprehensive archaeological studies were held within the framework of the project "Cultural heritage – Island-city of Sviyazhsk and ancient Bolgar". In the course of research in 2016, at the CCXVI excavation, it was possible to fix ceramic kilns united by a large foothill pit common to all structures.
