The collection presents letters (appeals, statements, complaints) from students of higher education institutions, workers' faculties, technical schools, written in the period from 1921 to 1930 to authorities and administration bodies of various levels, to leaders of the party and the Soviet state, and to public figures. The inclusion of appeals from different categories of students in the publication allows us to present in one documentary publication source material that makes it possible to compile a social portrait of students in the first years of Soviet power.
