Aleksey Cvetkov was born in Ukraine, he was a student of history and journalism departments at Moscow University. Since 1975 he had been living in the USA. He defended the dissertation on philology in Manchester University. Nowadays he lives in Washington. He is the author of the books “Collection of Plays for Solo lLfe” (1978), “State of the Dream” (1981), “Edem” (1985), “Poems” (1996) and others.
