"Status: Free" is an attempt to create a collective portrait of the new creative emigration. Before us is a story about free and courageous artists, recorded by journalist and writer Sergei Nikolaevich, who himself left Russia after the war began. His heroes did not want to become hostages of official propaganda, decided to do without the state noose, were not afraid to express their position against Putin's aggression. How is their life today? What problems have they encountered in the West? What does it mean to be Russian in the current circumstances?
