The author's third book in a row, following the work "Slovensky sign - its origin and development until 1918", which was published by VEDA in 2021, deals with the fate of state symbolism in the stormy 20th century. It details the activities of the Prague heraldic commission operating in the years 1918-1920, which was supposed to design the symbolism of young Czechoslovakia, as well as the discussions about the national emblem and flag, which ultimately reflected the Czechoslovak state-political concept. In a similar way, it brings closer the work of heraldic commissions in the following turning points in our history - in the years 1938, 1939, 1945.
