The State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in its current form was formed through the reorganization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Inspection of Man-made Safety of Ukraine. Since April 25, 2014, the activities of the Service have been directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs. This collection offers historical information on the formation of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations, as well as materials on the development and current state of the Service; the legal basis of its activity and comments explaining the main points of legal regulation.
