The compilation is based on the reports of the International Scientific and Technical Conference “The State and Prospects for the Development of the Forest Complex in the CIS Countries”, held in the framework of the International Youth Forum on Forest Industry Education (Les-Science-Innovations – 2018). The issues of design, operation and maintenance of logging machines and equipment, improvement of resource-saving technologies for logging and primary processing of raw wood, development of forest tracts, design and operation of forest roads, and the use of secondary resources for energy purposes are considered.
