The writer of Spanish origin Natalena Koroleva (1888–1966) came to Ukrainian literature at a mature age, when fate connected her with the artist V. Koroliv-Stary.
The publication contains an autobiography and little-known works of N. Korolyova, which were previously published in various emigrant periodicals. In the story "Sin" the writer depicts the life of a young nun in a Catholic monastery; exotic travels to Persia are described in the "Eastern Tale"; the mental hesitations of the young prisoner are discussed in "Saratsinka"; The article "Pharaoh Tut-Anh-Amon" is devoted to the traditions of Ancient Egypt. The publication includes the Persian fairy tale "Human Age" and the fable "Rabbit and Bunny", instructive short stories "Bread" and "Reviews", as well as other iconic works.
The chronological arrangement of this multi-genre work of the writer and the rich thematic palette will allow to trace the evolution of N. Korolyova's artistic skill, her preferences and artistic interests at certain stages of her life.
