The spatial development of the Russian Federation with its vast territory, high geographical differentiation and unique natural resource diversity is a very important, albeit complex problem. All this fully applies to the largest in Russia – the Far Eastern macro-region, which we are considering with the inclusion in its natural resource space of the adjacent sea area within the 200-mile exclusive economic zone. In this case, the aqua-territorial macroregion is called Pacific Russia. The book presents both theoretical concepts and approaches to the analysis of spatial development at different levels, as well as some aspects of the study of spatial development in this large aqua-territorial macroregion. Geographical factors of its development are considered, as well as the main features of territorial, spatial structures at different levels and some trends in their development. Conclusions are drawn that Pacific Russia has a great potential for spatial development.
