The author makes an attempt to analyze the composition and the figures of Spanish emigration, to describe the life of Spanish children and teachers in the Soviet Union, to tell about the participation of Spanish emigrants in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The book is based on rare archival documents never published before. Materials from the State Archive of the Russian Federation, Russian State Archive of Social-Political History and other archives were used.
