Narva, one of the most beautiful towns in Estonia, was completely destroyed during World War II. The years of Soviet regime came afterwards. Finally this town famous for original historical heritage and centuries old history stopped its existence as an Estonian one. The majority of Narva born and bred Estonians left it and for a long time there was no chance for them to come back. The book opens this tragic page of Estonian history.
