The novel is based on reliable facts, according to the operative data of the State Security Service, the tax police, court cases of various years, personal journalistic work that has not been published, materials of audits by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and confidential conversations with people close to the power and law enforcement structures. The characters are real, easily recognizable, sometimes brought together by the will of the author in a common stage field. Individual characters are fictional, designed to heighten the comedy or drama of situations.
