I will never forget this little book, first of all, because of the narrator. His special voice, intonation, and incredible accuracy and consistency stand out from everyone else. Rarely do we write and tell a story like this. Kvachi is also a good narrator, Givi Shaduri, and many others, but such a clear, artistic, honest, and dramatic voice is rare, and he is one of the first, and all the others in Georgian prose flow from him.
