The Turkmen State Publishing Service published a book entitled “Sultan Jelaletdin Menguberdi” by scientists from the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Orazpolat Ekayev and Rejep Jommyev. This book, which tells about the glorious path of Sultan Jelaletdin Menguberdi, a great personality whose life became an example of patriotism, courage and fearlessness, immediately attracts the reader with its descriptive style, historical information and scientific nature. The first chapter of the book is called “Brief descriptions of the sultans of the Khorezmshahs of the Turkmens - the Anushtegin Empire”, and it provides information about the sultans of the empire up to Jelaletdin. The second chapter of the book describes Jelaletdin’s battles with the troops of Genghis Khan. The third chapter of the book, which captivates the reader with its interesting stories, is about the reflection of the historical image of Sultan Jelaletdin in the works of Muhammet an-Nasevi. Muhammed an-Nasevi, the secretary of Jelaletdin, described the Sultan and wrote in his work: "He was a dark-skinned, medium-tall young man, with a Turkmen accent, but he also spoke Persian. It is impossible to tell about his bravery and courage, but the battles we have described also show how real he was. He was a lion of lions, the most fearless of the brave young men who did not give up." According to the information provided in the book, Muhammed an-Nasevi's work is a reliable source for restoring and correctly describing the Sultan's personality.
