The monograph presents a few original methods for the cognition of social reality and for the developing sociological perception that reflect the long-time experience of the author as a sociologist. The major emphasis throughout the book is put on the sociological reflexivity, which is essentially missing in contemporary debates. The lack of this reflexivity results into the lack of civil self-consciousness and serious shortcomings in the activities of the authorities, into inadequacy of the undertaken social actions in relation to contemporary world.
