The publication observes a topical issue for Estonia’s society — population ageing. The impact of ageing on the population and household structure, labour market and government expenditure will be analysed. The material welfare, employment, health and social cohesion of elderly people are observed as well. The analysis covers the age groups 55–64 and 65 and older.
