This monograph is the result of undertaking research on the use of social capital of contemporary society in national security.
The culmination of many years of effort is the presentation of a comprehensive approach to the phenomenon of social capital and the genius of society that can use it to create security, which is after all an equivalent of happiness. The substantive and logical structure of the monograph is formed by eight chapters, leading the reader from general content concerning security and the role of man and society in its creation, to detailed analyses of the use of social capital in building society's resilience to the challenges of the 21st century.
