The monograph is substantively aimed at studying the socio-psychological characteristics of modern Cossacks. It consists of five chapters, which consistently examine the issues of institutional revival of the Cossacks, their psychological portrait, self-presentation of socio-cultural, organizational and service status, assessment of state policy in the field of Cossacks and the attitude of the Cossacks in military service and special military operations.
