"I have accompanied the person and work of Czeslaw Milosz from near and far away from the late seventies. I was the first listener of his new poems. Some read to me on the phone when we shared the continent or the ocean. Yes, I knew Milosz, but did I understand how his work was created, how his thoughts circulate, how are the poems born? This is still an incomprehensible creative act for me.
