Slutsk is one of the oldest Belarusian cities. Its owners were the richest families of princes Alelkovich and Radziwill. A whole set of truly unique visual sources has come down to our time, which literally allow us to see old Slutsk. These are the plans of the city and its parts. The main purpose of the book was their scientific processing and publication. The largest collection of plans of Slutsk and its parts is stored in the National Historical Archive of Belarus, among them the earliest plan of the city of the middle of the XVII century. authored by the field hetman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Janusz Radziwill. A large collection of plans of Slutsk is kept in the Main Archive of Ancient Acts in Warsaw. Many plans of the city were found in the archives and libraries of Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Darmstadt), Russia (St. Petersburg) and Lithuania (Vilnius). In total, the book published more than 70 plans of Slutsk and its parts. In addition, the book contains other iconographic sources: drawings, photographs and architectural projects. Many of them have not been published before and remain unknown to professionals and a wide range of stakeholders. Drawings, drawings and photographs accompany the plans and help to better understand them.
