Polunitsyn Ilya (Serko Ilya Viktorovich) is a children's writer and poet. The author works in the genres of literary fairy tales, children's fantasy, children's detective, non-fiction. Ilya Polunitsyn's books "Adventures in Belkolesye" and "Tales of the Kitchen Cabinet" became winners of the "Book of the Year Republic of Karelia" competition in the "Cool Book" nomination in 2019 and 2020. Laureate of the 2024 G. R. Derzhavin Head of the Republic of Karelia Prize "For the Glory of the Fatherland" in the nomination of Literature for Children and Youth.
