Sites of Polchevskaya culture have been recorded on the territory of the Amur region and Primorye of Russia, Northeast China. The emergence of culture in Primorye is associated with the migration of part of the Polchevskaya population along the northern river corridor through the Amur River and the Ussuri River. The monograph traces for the first time the genesis and dynamics of the Polchevskaya culture of Primorye from the IV century BC to the V–VII century AD, determines its role in the formation of the archaeological cultures of the medieval Tungus-Manchus and Paleoasiates.
