The monograph comprehensively analyzes the organizational principles of women's monasteries of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Eastern Halychyna at the end of the 19th - the first half of the 20th century, their formation, structure and development. The content and significance of the key reforms of the monasteries of the Basilian sisters are revealed. The main areas of activity of the sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Eastern Halychyna of the outlined period have been studied. The role of monastic centers in the creation of the education system, the development of private schooling, spiritual education and the formation of moral and ethical priorities of the Ukrainian youth is highlighted.
