This story begins with a family photo and a direct flight to her homeland - to Ukraine. Darka flies to her mother, remembering how she sang "Stefania" to her as a child. The song and the photo are a bridge from generation to generation, and now Darka's mother Ania is packing a suitcase for departure, and there is in it - an album with photos. Behind each of the photos there is an episode from the past, from the life of her aunt, mother, grandmother. And in the present, the voices of her sister, daughter-in-law, husband and son are heard. Evacuation from Kyiv, divorce, departure to Poland, volunteering in a hospital, singing lessons - this is the leitmotif of Ania's life. And thinking about other destinies, she must make her own choice.
