The catalogue of the exhibition “Since Tobacco You Love So Much” in the State Hermitage Museum represents a variety of objects united by the history and cultural tradition of using tobacco in Europe and demonstrates the diversity of materials, shapes and decorative elements of European applied art of the XVIIth – XXth centuries. It includes various smoking accessories which have become an integral part of the European centuries-old tradition of using tobacco such as snuffboxes, tobacco graters and pouches, match-holders, cases for cigars, ashtrays and etc.
