This book is about the history of the Kuytunsky district of the Irkutsk region. The first settlers in the district appeared in the Barluk parish and settled in the floodplain of the Oka River. They gradually moved to the southeast, pushing the Buryat tribes. In connection with the Moscow highway, Kuitun and the pritrakt villages began to develop actively. Cossack villages are formed here.
