1. "Leading to the Light" - the first personal exhibition of the artist of the Paris school Shragi Tsarfin in the post-Soviet space. Although the artist was born in Belarus, he lived most of his life abroad. His work has long been unknown to Belarusians. And this exhibition is his original return to his homeland.
2. The exhibition will feature a collection of works by Shragi Tsarfin from the collection of the A-100 group of companies and various private collections. Some of the art objects were purchased by A-100 from the creator's heirs in 2019. Also at the exhibition you can see three works by Tsarfin from the fund of the National Art Museum and works from private Belarusian and foreign collections - a total of 52 paintings. Only one collection is missing - the corporate collection of Belgazprombank, which is now exhibited in the gallery "Art-Belarus" and in Smilovichi, where Tsarfin was born. It may not be possible to collect all these works in one exhibition space.
“The National Art Museum of Belarus is proud to host the first personal exhibition of Tsarfin in the post-Soviet space. The artist's paintings are in the collections of the Rothschilds, the Chaplin family, Helena Rubinstein. Tsarfin's work always arouses genuine interest among young people, "says the curator of the exhibition Nadezhda Usova.
