Jean-Sha (Hovhannes) Tekgyozyan's novel "Shelter" throws the reader into a whirlwind of dramatic events from the very first lines and takes him by the collar to the end. But it is a sensory captivity like no other. It is not difficult to guess from the manuscript that the writer is a person with an artistic temperament. His prose mixes poetry, music and, surprisingly, architecture. In the description of both the character and the environment, the emphasis is necessarily on color and sound, which seem to be secondary actors. The main character, black Cyrano, is a future architect whose senses are endowed with unusual abilities; he can see the voice, smell the conversation, perceive the speech in the form of a structure.
