The pages of this book contain not only selected stories, but also the unfinished novel "Cigar end", still unpublished, in which the writer managed to create an original psychological portrait of the main character, although she did not have time to finish his story. However, an equally important part of the book is the almost lost "Autobiography" by Olena Pchilka - a text collected together from fragments of manuscripts, typescripts and old prints, repressed shortly after the writer's death and scattered in the dark corners of archive shelves.
