The issue consists of works by the outstanding Russian thinker Mikhail Petrov (1923-1987), one of the greatest Russian philosophers and scientists of the second half of the XXth century. Petrov was the first one who paid attention to contradictions of interactions between globalization processes and regionalism and wrote a range of works on theoretic and applied regionalism, some of which unpublished before are offered in the present collection.
