The author is Olga Viktorovna Nagornaya (1970), a famous Orenburg artist. She has been dealing with Sarmatian themes for many years. In her works, you will not find invented elements of jewelry or household items of this ancient people. All images correspond exactly to the archaeological finds now stored in the Orenburg Governor's Museum of History and Local Lore. Small stories dedicated to the theme of the steppe are framed by vivid, memorable paintings with a unique flavor of a bygone mysterious ancient culture.
