Maria Martysevich is a poet, translator, publicist, organizer of cultural projects. She was born in 1982 in Minsk. Writes in Belarusian. She is the author of the books Dragons Fly to Spawn: Essays in Poetry and Prose (2008), Diplomatic Mission: Poems of Our Own and Others' (2011), Sarmatia (2018), How to Get Rid of Mamatut (2020). Lives in Minsk. For the first time in this book, four poems by M. Martysevich of different years, well known to the reader of Belarusian literature of the 21st century, are published under one cover.
