Journalist Julia writes an article on a shameful page of French history during the Second World War. From an old diary she discovers shocking details about the tragic fate of one family. Trying to save the four-year old son from arrest, the parents locked him in a closet and together with their elder daughter Sarah left the house under escort, in hope to return soon. They still do not know what awaits them. But the girl miraculously manages to avoid a terrible fate. All these days she squeezes in her fist the key from the closet. Finally, Sarah comes back home...
