The publication of documents and memoirs concerning the Sandarmokh tract - the place of mass executions and burials during the Great Terror of 1937-1938. Sandarmokh is located in the Medvezhyegorsky district of the Republic of Karelia; special settlers and residents of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, prisoners of the White Sea-Baltic camp, as well as the most numerous “first stage” of the Solovetsky camp were killed here. The second volume of Yuri Dmitriev's book includes biograms of the executed from Nikolai Kiryanovich Gavkin to Mikhail Vasilievich Eshakov inclusive.
