"Sand in a Glass" is the literary debut of Iryna Smolych, and it is a surprisingly successful debut. There lived a talented (as if) writer, and he had everything like people - a wife, a child, a car and even a cat. But with the end of the last book, Viktor's life began to resemble an illogical trash with seemingly unrelated events. Is this someone's stupid joke? Could Victor be losing his mind? The answer will be in the final, which, by the way, is also quite ambiguous. Sand in the Glass reminded me of King's Mystery Window, especially the movie. I think this is a good comparison for the author. The book is written in an interesting and beautiful language.
