After the Revolutionary tempest of 1917 and the bloodcurdling Civil War in Russia there appeared a lot of people who headed to foreign countries leaving behind their motherland, friends and, sometimes, their own parents. The little outcasts could find shelter at "St.George" hostel. The present book contains lists of patronized children, information on the hostel's teachers, priests, and headmasters.
