The authors of the monograph examine the history of Russian emigrants in Manchuria from the moment of the refugee colony formation in the 1920s till the moment of its disappearance in the middle of the 1950s. Main attention is paid to one of the most difficult for Russian emigrants periods that is connected with the occupation of Manchuria by the Japanese and the formation of a puppet state Manchuguo. The authors analyze the activity of the Bureau on Business of Russian Emigrants - so called “government in exile” that was created by the Japanese for administration of emigrant population.
