Aleksey Alekseevich Tikhonov (1853-1914) was a Russian businessman, editor, fiction writer and poet known under the pseudonym Lugovoy; member of the "Pyatnitsa" literary circle. Laureate of the Pushkin Prize of the Imperial Petersburg Academy of Sciences. Vladimir Alekseevich Tikhonov (1857-1914) was a novelist and playwright, actor.
