The monograph reveals the problem of dialogue between Russian and Tatar cultures in the system of literary education of schoolchildren in the Republic of Tatarstan. Attention is focused on the comparative analysis of works of art of Russian and Tatar literature in the context of nurturing a respectful attitude towards all-Russian spiritual and cultural values, as well as towards the national traditions of the Tatar people.
