Lemky is one of ethnographical groups of the Ukrainian nation. The proposed monograph is devoted to the carving of Lemkivshchyna. A great deal of works of art were analyzed, many of them were introduced to scientific research for the first time. Little known sacral and stone memorial carving of the region is investigated in the book in the context of the Ukrainian artistic history. Special attention is paid to national and Lemky's carving traditions, to the present state and perspectives of the carving development in modern centers of Ukraine.
