In the book Russian Far East and Trans-Baikal Regions are analyzed as an example of government management system functioning in a large economic region. The focus is made on proposed measures for economic policy improvements such as economic cooperation and integration between subjects of the Russian Federation, goal and program-oriented management, fuel and energy complex reconstruction and development, international cooperation. The edition attempts to define the role and place of the Asia-Pacific Region in this process. Concrete projects for Russia integration into Asia-Pacific and efficient measures to attract investments to the Russian Far East are proposed.
