This monograph is a continuation of analytical studies on the problems of measuring and assessing the socio-economic status and development trends of the Far Eastern Federal District in the context of regions and industry complexes. The studies are focused on identifying the main factors and problems in the functioning of the main sectors of the economy, social sphere, foreign economic activity, financial and monetary sectors in 2013–2018. It is shown that no significant changes in the economic structure have occurred; industrial potential remains a strategic advantage of the macro-region economy. In the extractive sector, the stability of the dynamics is almost entirely determined by the stability of the external economic situation and the stability of the ruble, the dynamics of the processing sector depends on effective demand in the domestic market of Russia. Continuing restrictions on access to financial resources in both the domestic and international markets, the deterioration of the situation with technological exchange support the persistence of uncertainty with growth prospects in the macroeconomic economy as a whole.
