The author’s school years coincided with the great events in the country: the rehabilitation of the victims of the Stalinist repression, the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space, the Caribbean crisis ... In the plot sketches, like in a kaleidoscope, historical figures from the Romanov dynasty from Peter I appear before the reader’s eyes to Nicholas II, who somehow influenced the fate of the Karelian Isthmus and Finland of those times. It was there that in the 60s of the last century the author of the book lived until entering the institute.
