This book is a collection of essays on the most important Serbian painters and sculptors of the 20th century.
In the book, the author talks about the paintings of Milenko Serban, Marko Celebonovic, Svetozar Samurovic, Bata Mihailovic, Mladen Srbinovic, Radomir Reljic and Dusan Otasevic, as well as the sculptures of Olga Jevric, Nebojsa Mitric and Milun Vidic.
The book also contains an essay on Goya's drawings, behind which Simovic glimpses scenes and landscapes from the paintings of some important domestic authors.
