The youth of the main character of the novel "Rakhil" passed in the fashionable 1960s. Boogie-woogie, twist and first love suddenly appears and changes the character's life all of a sudden mixing its pleasures with disappointments, devotion with betrayals of the people he loved most of all. The actions of the novel cover the period from the 1960s to the 1990s placing the main character into a dramatic period in the history of Russia.
