This is a manual for students of the humanities (specialists of art, aesthetics and culture, sociologists, psychologists and others). Part 1 deals with different aspects of application of quantity methods while studying works of art: painting, music, poetry and prose. The study is focused on two main problems of space and time. Part 2 is devoted to studies of art influence on people: their spiritual world, social behavior, etc. The study is finished by the analysis of possibilities of application of the quantity methods in cultural policy.
