The collection is devoted to the problem of tradition and innovation in Pushkin's prose, poetry and drama. The authors try to establish a continuity between the writer's works and folklor, old Russian literature, the literary artists of XVIII century (Lomonosov, Fonvisin, Derzhavin, Radishchev), the writers of the beginning of XIX century. At the same time the authors characterize the powerful ascendancy of Pushkin on creators of XIX century, his influence on the whole Russian culture of XX century.
